  • I am located at 126 E Broadway St, Suite 25, Missoula, MT 59802. This office is on the second floor of the Masonic Temple building.

  • Online therapy through Simple Practice is designed to make accessing mental health care straightforward and secure. Here’s how the process works:

    1. Secure Platform: Simple Practice is a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) system that ensures your personal and health information remains private and protected.

    2. Scheduling Appointments: You can easily book sessions through the Simple Practice client portal. I’ll provide you with access and guide you through the setup process during our initial contact.

    3. Joining a Session: Before your scheduled appointment, you’ll receive an email with a link to join your virtual session. No downloads are required—just click the link to connect.

    4. What You Need: For the best experience, you’ll need a quiet, private space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone, like a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

    5. During the Session: Sessions are conducted through a secure video interface, much like meeting in person. You’ll be able to see and hear me, and we’ll engage in therapy as we would in a face-to-face session.

    6. Access to Records and Resources: The client portal also lets you securely message me, complete any necessary paperwork, and access notes or assignments we agree upon in therapy.

    7. Billing and Payment: Payments are processed through Simple Practice, making it easy to manage your account. You can store payment details securely and review your invoices in the portal.

Online therapy allows you to receive support from the comfort of your home while maintaining the same professionalism and therapeutic integrity as in-person care. If you have questions or concerns about the technology, I’m here to help every step of the way.

  • Yes, I offer in-person sessions at my office located in downtown Missoula, MT. If you prefer, I also provide secure online therapy sessions for clients who cannot attend in person or find virtual appointments more convenient.

  • My standard session fee is $200, and I accept several types of insurance. For clients using out-of-network benefits, I partner with Thrizer, a service that streamlines reimbursement and helps reduce out-of-pocket costs. For those needing a sliding scale option, I am also an Open Path therapist, offering reduced-fee sessions based on financial need. Please contact me for a detailed fee schedule or to discuss the best payment option for your situation.

  • Yes. Even if I’m not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to use your benefits. Many plans offer out-of-network (OON) coverage, which means you could get reimbursed for part of each session. To make this easier, I partner with Thrizer, a service that handles the reimbursement process for you, so you only pay your in-network rate up front instead of waiting for a check from your insurance company.

You don’t have to navigate this alone — I can help verify your benefits and let you know your exact cost per session before we begin. We’ll also review financial options during your free initial consultation. Visit my contact page to schedule a consultation today.

  • The first appointment is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin exploring your goals for therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, history, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach and ensure we’re a good fit. Together, we’ll outline a plan to address your needs.

  • The duration of therapy varies depending on your goals and the challenges you're facing. Some clients may find short-term therapy helpful for specific concerns, while others may benefit from a longer-term commitment to explore deeper patterns and issues. We’ll regularly review your progress to ensure therapy continues to meet your needs.

  • A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a document that provides an estimate of the cost of services for clients who are uninsured or paying privately. It’s required under the No Surprises Act to promote transparency and help you understand the potential expenses before starting therapy. I will provide a GFE during the intake process or upon request.
