I acknowledge that the land where my practice is located has long been a site of meeting and exchange among Indigenous peoples.

Specifically, the Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys are the original homelands of the Séliš (Salish) and Qlispe (Pend d’Oreille/Kalispel) peoples, who have inhabited this land since time immemorial. This area was also frequented by other tribal nations, including the Ksanka (Kootenai), Niitsitapi (Blackfeet), Newe (Shoshone), Apsáalooke (Crow), and Ka’I gwu (Kiowa).

I honor the original stewards of this land and their descendants, many of whom continue to live, work, and contribute to this community. In my practice, I commit to approaching this work with respect, humility, and a dedication to equity.
